What
is Monster Jam? In traditional racing, drivers compete
in 2or 3 five minute qualifying events and then a final
'main' event. While this is a lot of fun, it tends to be
very competitive, not to mention intimidating, to the backyard
bashers out there. The Chicago R/C Club's mission is "To
create the best on-road and off-road radio controlled car
racing
experience possible in the Chicagoland area
through organized club events and an informative, up-to-date
web site." Based on that, we ser out to create an event
that would allow anyone to participate and have a lot of
fun, regardless of their skill level.
Monster Jam is a series of different events
that take place over the course of a day. We have had 6 Monster
Jam's to date and they keep getting better every time. New
events get added as often as possible. This year we introduced
the hill climb & skate park obstacle course. Other events we
have held include Radar Runs, Monster Soccer, Big Jump, Sled
Pulling, and Drag Racing.
We
always receive strong support from our sponsors for Monster
Jam events. Ask anyone who has ever been to one and they
will tell you that they have always walked away with something.
